History of Alaska School Reform
1991-2002

This publication, produced by the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development, is designed to briefly chronicle how our vision for quality schools unfolded from 1991 to 2002. In reading the steps along the way, we see the participation of thousands of teachers and parents. We remember the support of our business and community leaders, our lawmakers and school board members. We hear the wise words of village elders, and we see the hopeful smiles of our children.
