ANCHORAGE SD CALLS ON
LEGISLATURE TO ADDRESS PERS-TRS
The Anchorage School Board approved a resolution on Monday,
Sept. 25, asking the Legislature to address a crisis looming in the state
retirement systems. The resolution says that at a minimum funding for the
increase in TRS and PERS be approved in January, 2007, and a longer-term solution
be found by next May. See more

IDEAS TO SIMPLIFY COLLEGE CHOICES

launched plans Tuesday to redefine the college experience, promising less

massive information-sharing system, requiring greater review of colleges and a
