Research – As an AASB member, you too have access to AASB's extensive collection of materials assembled for school board members and administrators. AASB's research saves you valuable time. When you need to know what other districts are doing, let AASB help you. Our Quick Survey service is fast and accurate. AASB researches and distributes Critical Issues Papers to all members on topics of special importance.

Enews – Each week members receive an email containing a summary of state and national news impacting Alaska’s schools.

Commentary – AASB's widely-read monthly newsletter, is your access to inside information about what's happening in education across the state and the nation. Stay current on boardsmanship, policy development, advocacy, legislative issues, and a host of other important concerns that impact decision making at your local level.

Website – AASB’s website is the fastest way to get information from the Association. Access news and information about board standards, training programs, the legislature, policy, labor relations, child and youth advocacy, and the QS2 Service. It also has links to a variety of professional and news organizations as well as Education statutes and regulations.

Legislative Bulletin – Published when congressional and legislative events warrant and distributed using email. It apprises members of the status of state and federal bills, and alerts them when action is required in the form of immediate contact with legislators.

Annual Survey of Employee Benefits – Published in three separate reports, the survey contains detailed comparative information on salaries and benefits for teachers, administrators.

Information/Bookstore – The AASB office maintains a library of resource materials on a wide variety of topics of interest to school boards. We also offer a number of publications for sale pertaining to boardsmanship, school management, administrative aspects of education and child advocacy issues.
