Pribilof Island
District Overview
The Pribilof School District, with its mantra – We never give up helping our children – our most precious resource, serves about 134 students on the islands of St. George and St. Paul.  The Pribilof Islands are located about 750 air miles west of Anchorage in the middle of the Bering Sea.  Noted for its strong Aleut culture, and summer home of countless fur seals and migratory birds, the islands are a prime tourist destination.



Mission of District
The Pribilof School District unique in history, location, and Aleut Culture, with the support of parents and community, will provide an educational program based on Alaska Standards which will enable students to become responsible young adults.
